This past weekend, www.viktorviktoriashop.com received a ton of orders for Tulle Coats.  Tulle Coats are always big sellers for us, but we couldn’t understand why there was such a huge increase in our Tulle Coat online sales on a Saturday.  As we all know, most people shop online during the week, while at work, not on the weekend.  Well, we finally called one of our new customers to confirm an address and asked her how she found www.viktorviktoriashop.com.  Her response was “the Dec. 21 issue of People Magazine.”

We have been carrying Tulle Coats for over ten years.  Tulle began with this classic Tulle Vintage Coat.  Every year the coat gets better and better.  The fit has been much improved.  No longer do you have to order an XL if you wear a size 8!  Yes Tulle Coats now will fit a size 10 – 12 woman.  True, you will have to order an XL which is off by Midwest standards where a size 10 – 12 woman is considered a Medium but given the coats are designed in LA where a size 8 is considered fat, I guess we should be happy!

I must admit, I have almost every color of the Tulle Vintage coat from the past seasons.  Every year I swear I won’t get another one but then they arrive and I just can’t resist.  My favorite color of Tulle Coat this year is the Teaberry purple.  I think it is stunning and will look great with my new red hair!

  We have always love the style and beautiful colors of our Tulle Coats and this year we love them even more.  Why, because they actually fit a bit larger than in the past.  Up until this year, Tulle coats have always run super small in the arms and across the back.  This meant that if you had a chest, you would have to go up 1 or 2 sizes if you wanted to button your coat, especially the Tulle vintage coat.  Well, Tulle must have received enough feedback from their vendors as to the small fit that they finally decided to cut these coats slightly larger.  At last, if you wear a size 11 you can actully fit into an XL!  Now, before you complain to me that a size 11 is not an XL, I know it, but remember these coats are designed in LA, the land of the size 4 means it is diet time!!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Wow, it is freezing here in Viktor Viktoria Land! The weather is below zero and promises to get worse for the next few days. Is this cold weather stopping Viktor Viktoria shoppers? Somewhat but our Tulle Coats and BB Dakota Coats are still selling well. Tulle Coats are simply wonderful.  This year, Tulle has made them even better by cutting them a bit larger.  Last year, we always advised our customers to order a size up when ordering a Tulle Coat, but this year it is not really necessary. The designer must have actually listened to retailers everywhere who tried to explain that a woman who wears a size 8 should not have to order an XL in a Tulle Coat and made the cut just a bit fuller.  You still get the same great fit but now there is actually room to wear a sweater under your Tulle Coat so you can be extra warm when Winter finally arrives.  Tulle Coats are available in many great colors.  Once you buy one Tulle Coat you will want more – yes Tulle Coats are addictive so beware!
