So many great things happen in September. Like what you ask? Well your faithful blogger celebrates their birthday, school starts (I have a sick obsession with school supplies), the fall colors start to show on the trees here in Wisconsin; and now Viktor Viktoria will have a new home!!!

Metallic Leggings: Perfect for A Dance Recital

Metallic Leggings are perfect for my Dance Recital and I love the fact that they can be used with almost any outfit after the Recital.  One of our dance routines features Lady Gaga music so the metallic leggings look great as a costume.  There are 6 of us in the routine and each dancer has a pair of Viktor Viktoria metallic leggings and a sexy Viktor Viktoria Sequin Top with a Fishnet Top over it.  My metallic leggings are pink like those pictured below.

Long Skirts, Will Summer Bring The Long Skirt Back?

According to Women’s Wear Daily, longer skirts are moving from the runway to retail stores for Spring..

“This length is refreshing to see after so many seasons of minis,” said Colleen Sherin, fashion director of Saks Fifth Avenue. “The midi, mid-calf is newest, but in reality we’ve bought it anywhere from just-below-the-knee all the way to ankle-length.”   On a similar note, Stephanie Solomon, vice president of fashion direction at Bloomingdale’s, predicts that hemlines will lower as the weather gets warmer.

Personally, I am excited for the ankle length skirts, a staple of my wardrobe – especially an ankle length black skirt which can be easily dressed up or down to fit almost any occasion!
