Leggings are my must have item this Fall.  I have been wearing leggings to school almost every day.  My Heart Net Leggings from Viktor Viktoria and viktorviktoriashop.com are my latest legging purchase.  . My Heart Net Leggings are blue, like the ones in the picture above but they also carry pink and black versions of these leggings. My friends absolutely adore the Heart Net Leggings because they are so  sweet and they look great with a jean mini skirt.  Sometimes, I put a pair of black tights under these leggings to create a different look – I will probably do this more often as it gets colder out in the next few months. I LOVE my Deep V Alternative Apparel Hoodie because its so soft and so comfortable. It is also easily washable, and unlike other fabrics, it doesn’t shrink or pill in the wash.

Some other Alternative Apparel items are dresses, hats, tees and jackets. Some of my other favorites are definitely the Alternative Apparel Dresses.  I have several of the Petecia Alternative Apparel Dresses which I wear with leggings and jeans.  In Summer I just add a tank top underneath this Dress, this Winter I plan to add a lightweight long sleeve Alternative Apparel tee under my Petecia Dress.

The 80′s Return

Thats right folks, the 80′s are back. You know what that means? Brightly colored leggings, over the shoulder shirts, leg warmers and high tops.I adore the 80′s, so I don’t really mind. My favorite thing about the 80′s is definitely the over the shoulder shirts. The only reason I like them is because I can wear them and I look good in them. Or so my friends say.  I just added this Van Halen “Live Lion” cropped Tee to my Chaser T-shirt collection.  I love that it slips off my shoulder when I wear it.

I got my Chaser Live Lion Tee at Viktor Viktoria and plan to go there this weekend and get more Chaser Tees as they have a large selection of these 80′s cut T-shirts. The 80′s were definitely one of the best time periods, next to the 20′s. The 80′s were not exactly a high point in fashion, but I still like the fashions  that they had. I didn’t exactly like the hair styles. I just liked the short skirts and the off the shoulder tops and tees. 

One of the greatest all time 80′s movie ever was definitely Flashdance. Flashdance is a great movie with some fantastic dance moves. When I spottend Lauen Conrad in the “City Of Angels” Tee, I quickly called my favorite rep, Anjali and ordered a ton of additional “City Of Angels” Tees from Chaser LA as I knew as soon as the magazine hit the street our stock would sell out – even though US magazine listed a different website as the place to buy the tee – not www.viktorviktoriashop.com  (and funny thing was the website listed didn’t even have the City of Angels Tee on their site)  I was right about the sell through.  Within two days all of our Chaser tees were gone but now we have a large stock of “City of Angels” Tees back in stock.  Who knows, maybe Lauren Conrad will wear the t-shirt on the reality show and the demand will spike once again!

As far as her new show is concerned, Lauen Conrad stated: “I’m so excited to take on this new project that really focuses on my true passion,” Lauren told THR. “I’m happy to be partnering with MTV because I have had such an amazing relationship with them and love being a part of the network.”

Halloween Is Coming – Are you ready?

Halloween is a huge event here in Milwaukee.  Halloween stores pop up all over the city: in major malls, strip malls and even in parking lots!  I guess people in Milwaukee love Halloween because it is just one more reason to get out, hit the bars and party!  Costume selection is a huge decision as most of the local bars have huge Halloween parties and offer prizes for the best costume. 

Yesterday, my daughter and I went over the the Halloween Pumpkin to check out the selections.  Yes, here in Milwaukee there is a giant pumpkin set up in the State Fair Grounds parking lot!  Not sure if this pumpkin is unique to Milwaukee but it is always a fun trip.

My daughter is going as Lady Gaga so she was searching for her costume.  We got many great ideas and the planning has begun. Of course, my daugher (who by the way, is having a Halloween birthday party even though her birthday is in March) has the advantage of having a mother in retail so she will be able to pick up many of the accessories for her Halloween Costume at Viktor Viktoria

Cher’s Final Show at Ceasars Palace, Feb 5, 2010

Cher’s final performance of her great show at Ceasar’s Palace has been set for Feb 5, 2001.  Cher is, in my opinion, the original Viktor Viktoria Vixen.   Cher has been at Ceasar’s for the past three years performing for her fans.  I was lucky enough to see her show and just loved the spectacular costumes, staging and choreography as well as Cher’s great music.

“Cher at the Colosseum” features dancers choreographed by Doriana Sanchez and costumes designed by Cher’s longtime designer, Bob Mackie.

Recently, Cher presented Lady Gaga with an award at the MTV Video Music award and looked sensational.  She will soon star in the movie Burlesque and a new musical: Cher the musical is currently being written. Can’t wait to see both shows as Cher is indeed a Viktor Viktoria Vixen!
