At last Summerfest is here and we are all going down to the lakefront tonight to enjoy the music, the shopping and of course, the food.  I intend to wear this lightweight, Mazzy Dress from BB Dakota.  Just love the beautiful front tie bow on this  perfect BB Dakota Striped Summer Sundress.

When this BB Dakota Dress arrive, I tried it on and it fits like a glove.  The belt makes my waist look smaller and the skirt is full enough to glide over my hips.  The length is good too - not too short, not too long.  I’m sure even the Bride’s parents will approve!

Patricia Field, stylist extraordinaire on Sex and the City revealed the defining style moment for her on SATC: “What I’m most proud of about my work on Sex And The City is that women were able to stop dressing like men at work, and they learned to dress to please themselves.”

Field also explained Sarah Jessica Parker’s appeal: “First of all, SJP has that great body, she doesn’t take herself too seriously, and she was able to pull off more outrageous fashion.” adding: “Sarah Jessica Parker in real life is not sexy, and if I had dressed her that way it would not have worked.”

When Liz Jones asked her if the clothes would date she replied: “That only happens if you are using just what is in season. I used vintage.” So that’s her secret!

Everyone at Viktor VIktoria loves Sex and The City - the stories, the city and most of all the fashion.  Patricia Field did an amazing job dressing the women in the show. Every week we all tuned in to see the latest fashion.  Of course most of it was a bit too fashion forward for the Midwest and Viktor Viktoria, but we were able to take ideas from her outfits and use them in the store and slowly push our customers towards the next trend. 

Anyway, we are trying to get tickets to opening night at the Majestic in Brookfield.  Why aren’t they on sale yet???  Dinner and Sex and the City with girlfriends - what could be more perfect?

Jackie Warner, Bravo TV’s Star of Work Out wore Viktor Viktoria’s cute Rainbow Tank Top on last night’s edition of Work Out.

“I’m With The DJ” Women’s T-shirt is one of our favorite Tees.  We have had requests for this “I’m With The DJ” Tee from all over the world.  Yesterday, while in New York at the FAME show, we ordered more of this super cute T-shirt from one of our favorite vendors, Juliano from Funky Urban.   In addition to the “I’m With The DJ” Tee, we ordered many new T-Shirt styles from him.  We will also be adding his super cute collection of women’s underwear to www.viktorviktoriashop.com.  This underwear is very “naughty” and we can’t wait to put it on the site.  We have it in stock but none of our Viktor Viktoria models will do underwear, so we are waiting for Juliano to send us photos of this super cute, super sexy merchandise.

Our visit to New York and the FAME show was great.  The weather was perfect and we were able to scout the streets of New York in seach of great jewelry - which we are happy to report we found.  The FAME show was also very exciting.  We were able to order several styles of Catch A Fire clothing including Catch A Fire T-shirts, Catch A Fire pants and Catch A Fire Jackets.  We also picked up the Paris Hilton line, purchasing several styles of Paris Hilton Tees and coats.  Annie O of course, showed us the Fall 2 Tulle Collection and we plan to order several more styles of Tulle Coats and Tulle Dresses. 

Our trip to New York was simply wonderful.  We worded fast and were able to spend our last day in New York on the “Barf Bus” (our webmaster Matt’s description of the double decker tour buses in New York.)  Yes, we spent the day on the downtown tour of New York and it was lots of fun as well as educational.  Got off the bus at the Sea Port and spent several hours exploring the area and enjoyed a great lunch by the water.  Later that night, met our web master, Matt, at Chevys for an evening which mixed business with pleasure. 

Now it is back to work.  Packed tons of orders tonight and had just enough time to blog before bed!
